Well, this past year was pretty tranquil for me, but enjoyable. Starting back at the beginning of the year, I did some traveling and was able to visit some places that I have always wanted to experience. One of which was Vail, CO, number one on my list. I skied to no end and cannot wait to go back this February. A few weeks after, I went to Vegas for a bachelor party and dropped a ton of dough for the full 30 hours I was there. After that, things started winding down for me. Work has been going great and the company is doing very well. Still love my job and couldn’t see myself anywhere else. Recently, the weather has been nothing short of arousing. If you want to know, I had a “weather woody” for two weeks with Sandy and the Winter Storm (will never refer to it as Athena or any ridiculous name The Weather Channel proclaims). Despite the duration, I did not call my doctor and enjoyed the rare event to the fullest.
In other news, I finally made the big move from Silver Spring, MD into Washington, D.C. My roommates (3 good friends) found an amazing house near Union Station in an area called Capitol Hill/NoMa/Near Northeast and could not have asked for a better location. We even have nightly street entertainment with women (sometimes cross-dressers) soliciting themselves. We choose to refer to them as “street walkers”, “sloots,” or “street-meat.” Let’s just say that when I go to work at 330am, I sometimes get a free show! Some of which I choose to forget.
Lastly, my dating life. It has not been the most successful but I have been dabbling here and there. I am in no rush and enjoying the single life, but if any of you know a classy girl that can handle Vortex Vita, send her my way. Unfortunately, no one has been able to fill those shoes (Jaclyn can somewhat attest).
I hope all is well with everyone and wish you all a successful and great year ahead. It only took 9 months after I moved here to finally see Drew (lives an hour away), but maybe I will get to see you all soon!
