A lot has changed for me in the last year and I don't want to buy everyone shots so here goes...
December of last year I made a decision to quit my job at Target. I can confidently say that it was the best life decision I'm made to date. Nothing felt better than telling my boss that I know longer cared what our guest survey or REDcard conversion scores were. Yes, sadly those were terms I artificially "cared" about for 2 years.
My last day at Target was February 8th (I'm celebrating that as an anniversary every year) and it is also the day I became a full time teacher with OGQ. Not to say that the dance school doesn't drive me bananas at times, but I love it despite all of its drama and anxieties.
The location of OGQ that I opened last year now has 30 students, and I'm sending 10 people to regionals for solos. It's very rewarding to see the kids working so hard and to see how much they have improved in the last year. It makes all of it worthwhile
Most of you have met him by this point, but I am still dating Jarrett. We've been seeing each other for about a year and a half and still going strong! In case you are looking for a good laugh, Jarrett and I have a great family dynamic going on here... My sister and his brother have a child together and are also dating. Quite backwards and "central Pennsylvania" of us, but he's so great, I wouldn't trade him in for a non-family member. Eww just kidding we're not actually related!!
Finally, to update my niece and nephew count, we are expecting number 16 in June. It will be a boy. Last year I mentioned getting a show like the Duggars, but lately I've been pondering contacting Discovery to run a special on our family's uniquely efficient reproductive abilities. Stay tuned.
